First Time In Connecticut
Following multiple sold-out New York City performances, Open Arts Alliance is thrilled to present this special workshop performance of Great Gatsby!: An Early 2000s Pop Parody Musical.
Great Gatsby! follows Nick Carraway as he navigates the roaring 20’s and a mysterious millionaire named Jay Gatsby. The classic story you were forced to read in high school, NOW with pop hits.
Written by OAA Alum Michael Busani, this hysterically un-faithful retelling is this year’s (Third) Best Musical… based on “The Great Gatsby”. This production is a great example of the impact that OAA has on it’s students.
Open Arts Alliance empowers youth through performing arts education in a supportive environment fostering creativity, confidence and self expression. Our programs nurture the next generation of leaders both on and off the stage while strengthening community bonds and creating a lasting impact.
*Great Gatsby! contains adult language and situations and is intended for mature audiences only… which is why it’s better than the book.
