Children are revolting, at least that's what Ms. Trunchbull, Head Mistress of Crunchem Hall, believes. It seems no one can stop the biggest school bully of all, until Matilda Wormwood, more brilliant than her years, shows The Trunchbull what revolting children can do.

The beloved Roald Dahl classic reminds us that sometimes the biggest heroes are the smallest people.

What is Open Arts Alliance?
Open Arts Alliance is a social-service organization which utilizes students’ artistic abilities to facilitate social service outreach to the senior population of our community focusing on brightening the day (and spreading education) to aging adults with dementia or Alzheimer’s Disease. We achieve our mission through each of our 5 cornerstone programs which provide volunteerism training and arts education to ensure that all our students-ages 4 to 104 (yes, really) experience the power of personal growth through the performing arts.

Are there fees associated with this show?
The program fee for our Fall Season is $775.00. This fee is subsidized by generous support from our donors allowing us to offer this program at a fraction of the actual cost. This underwriting makes participation accessible to a more diverse community.

Are there scholarships available?
Open Arts Alliance is proud that every single student who has ever wanted to participate has been able to do so thanks in part to the generosity of our community and board of directors. Need and merit based scholarships are available for every program. To inquire, please speak with a member of our faculty or staff.

What grade is my child eligible for?
Students are considered in the grade of whatever year they are entering Fall, 2022.
