Grade: Rising 1st grade to rising 7th grade
This class is specifically designed for young dancers! Students will learn the fundamentals of jazz technique while adding elements of acting and story telling in the classic Broadway style. Families are invited to watch an informal in-studio showcase on August 8, the last day of class. No experience necessary.

About Summerstage!
At OAA Summerstage is a unique opportunity for students to participate in performing arts training. OAA’s signature, supportive environment, nurtures aspiring performers with an emphasis on personal growth.
Encompassing over 50 hours of performing arts training, including choreography, music direction, and blocking, each unique production culminates in its own fully staged production. (Musical Theatre Dance Workshop is a special one-week program without a staged performance).
NOTE: All programs take place at the Powerhouse Theatre, Waveny Park, 679 South Avenue, New Canaan, CT
