This staged concert is a new musical version of Charles Dickens' beloved novella featuring holiday classic carols from the renaissance through the twentieth century. A Christmas Carol recounts the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, an elderly miser who is visited by the ghost of his former business partner Jacob Marley and the spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Future. In the process, Scrooge is transformed into a kinder, gentler man. In celebration of Open Arts Alliances’s 10th Anniversary, as we remember the past, enjoy the present and look to the future, this special project features OAA alumni, current students, and professionals. REGISTRATION IS CLOSED.
Adapted for young performers, this musical includes favorite Frozen songs such as "Love Is An Open Door," "Do You Want To Build a Snowman?," and "Let It Go," as well as wonderful new songs from the Broadway production. This production is sure to prove that "some people are worth melting for."
